Riding to Stirling

Tomorrow, five of us from North Cheshire Clarion are riding north to attend the National Clarion Cycling Club Easter meet in Stirling.

On day 1 we’ll be riding from Warrington to Kendal.  On day 2 we’ll travel from Kendal to Moffat and on day 3 we’ll get to Stirling.  This years meet is hosted by West Lothian Clarion, who’ll be meeting us to lead us in.  There are plenty of things going on over the weekend including a sportive on the Sunday called Gateway to the Highlands, which I am particularly looking forward to.

I hesitate to say it for fear of jinxing it, but the weather is looking favourable.  I don’t really care as I’m looking forward to it whatever the weather.

If anyone is interested the routes are below

Good luck Ade, with all the mileage you’ve put in you’ve become a cycling monster, I have no doubt you will sail over those hills and glide the valleys. Tell me something, do you cycle in your dreams? 😉

Good luck with the ride. The weather IS supposed to be stunning and should be for all of Easter. I look forward to your account of each ride stage and the meet.

    Have fun!
